Advanced Level
The Advanced Certificates are for experienced testing practitioners, and aim to demonstrate a depth of knowledge of testing topics and the ability to perform testing activities in practice.
There will be 3 modules - Advanced Test Analyst, Advanced Test Manager and Advanced Technical Test Analyst.
The courses typically consist of five days of tuition and an examination. The Foundation certificate is a prerequisite.
The Advanced Certificates place an emphasis on practicality, gaining maximum benefit from classroom time, learning valuable skills and then applying them immediately on return to work.
ANZTB is the first organisation to be running these examinations, based on the new syllabus.
Our guidelines are as follows:
Advanced Test Analyst Examination - 3 years of broad testing experience (not mandatory) & the ISTQB Foundation Certificate (mandatory).
Advanced Test Manager Examination - 3 years of broad testing experience plus 1 year of experience as a Test Manager (not mandatory) & the ISTQB Foundation Certificate (mandatory).
