ISTQB Advanced Exams

The Advanced Certificates are for experienced testing practitioners, they aims to demonstrate a depth of knowledge of testing topics and the ability to perform testing activities in practice.

Candidates are required to sit a 3 hour, 65-question examination designed to evaluate a candidate's knowledge and understanding of the entire Advanced Test Analyst syllabus. If English is not your first language you may use a translation dictionary, once the exam proctor has looked at and approved it. When you register, indicate that you will want to use a translation dictionary.  You will also be allocated an additional 45 minutes in which to do the examination.
